character counts

As an organization, Youth Opportunities Unlimited! has adopted the Character Counts!(sm) curriculum, which highlights 6 basic values, or pillars: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. To help youth develop good character, and thus happy and healthy lives, the staff at YOU! holds weekly lessons/discussions covering one of these 6 pillars, strives to model good character, and has incorporated them into the center’s rules.
